Description
Taq DNA Polymerase is a thermostable DNA polymerase from the thermophilic bacterium Thermus aquaticus. This enzyme amplifies DNA in the 5' to 3' direction and possesses 5'-3' proofreading exonuclease activity. It does not have 3'-5' exonuclease activity. This enzyme is the most widely used enzyme in molecular biology workflows.
This product includes all reagents needed to perform a PCR reaction with the exception of dNTPs, primers and DNA template. It includes:
